Primary School
The Primary School provides a welcoming, stimulating and 21st century environment designed to engage the curious minds of children from Kindergarten to Year 6. We aim to model Gospel values through our actions and our words, thus promoting the holistic and optimal development of each child. Our core values of Peace and Hope, Learning, Faith and Love are modelled through the way we show kindness and respect to ourselves, others, our school community and our environment.
At Mandurah Catholic College there is a firm commitment to providing a positive learning environment, both engaging and challenging, where children are encouraged to become successful life-learners. Communication with parents is crucial and welcomed at all times, enabling a partnership between parents, teachers and students to strive for the same goals or the child. Digital technology is a focus in our Year 4, 5 and 6 classrooms with a parent funded digital learning device programs to allow students to develop in a digital environment.
The Primary School curriculum is presented using a collaborative and integrated approach to learning, where continuous learning and success for each child is the focus. As we are a K–12 College, all students have equal access to exceptional architecturally designed educational facilities that are state-of-the-art, dynamic, interactive and user-friendly across the campus.
Kindergarten
Mandurah Catholic College’s Kindergarten has been designed to be dynamic, hands-on and most importantly, educationally fun. Our Kindergarten operates for 4 days per week. Through exploration and experiences, students acquire self-confidence and a love of learning. The staff plan play-based learning activities, which are embedded with intentional teacher focus utilising the Early Years Framework.
