What are you most looking forward to, in your role this year?

Being surrounded by like-minded people who care deeply about the Mandurah Catholic College community.

Professional passion, or educational philosophy:

My educational philosophy focuses on creating an engaging and fun learning environment for students. I believe that when students are having fun and feel involved in their own learning, they are more likely develop a love for learning. I believe that we can foster student engagement through hands-on activities, group projects, and interactive lessons that encourage critical thinking and creativity. I also believe in creating a supportive atmosphere where students feel comfortable taking risks and making mistakes, which is crucial for their growth and development. Ultimately, my goal is to instil in students a passion for learning that will serve them well throughout their lives.

What is a fun fact about you?

I was the state Junior Judo Champion for four (4) years in a row, in my weight and age category.  Back in the day, I represented Western Australia at the National Judo Championships in Melbourne.
