Emma Eastwell earns VET Certificate of Excellence

2022 Graduate Emma Eastwell was celebrated at a special Catholic Education WA awards ceremony last week for academic excellence.

Emma achieved a Vocational Education and Training (VET) Certificate of Excellence for her course 'Tourism, Hospitality and Events’, as the top CEWA student in the State! Emma was presented with the award by Mrs Eva Skira, Chair of Catholic Education Commission of Western Australia.

2022 graduates who achieved 99 or higher in their ATAR Examinations were also celebrated at the ceremony, which included a special mass and afternoon tea to mark their achievements. Congratulations Emma!

Emma achieved a Certificate III Education Support while completing Year 11, then going on to complete a Certificate III Events during Year 12. Emma completed 112 Workplace Learning Hours at Seashells Mandurah, which at the College, where she also completed the Murdoch TLC course with a Distinction. This gives Emma a 70 ATAR entrance and direct access to over 80 Murdoch University courses.
